Nick Brown, PT, DPT

Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist

Nick is a board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialist with 11 years experience in outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy. He provides a holistic approach to movement, recovery, and performance.

Nick is a life-long learner. He earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and his DPT from Georgia State University. He became dry needle certified in 2018, obtained the Certification of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy in 2023, and then became a board-certified orthopaedic clinical specialist in 2024. He has a passion for education and

Nick grew up playing soccer. He picked up ultimate frisbee in college and has played and coached at various levels since then. He therefore has a unique understanding of the stresses that this and other sports put on the body.

Since moving Denver in 2016, he has overcome many injuries that have prevented him from doing the activities that he loves: frisbee, skiing, yoga, running, hiking, and even working. It has taken a while to find the right combination of activities to stay healthy. He currently incorporates a healthy amount of yoga and weight training into his recreational activities to keep his body able to thrive in all aspects of life.

Nick brings a dynamic, hands-on style to treatment, combining evidence-based techniques with a deep respect of how the mind and body work together. He also understands and appreciates that the best outcomes are achieved when treating the whole patient, including strength, stability, mobility, flexibility, balance, and coordination.

Nick frequently collaborates with nutritionists, personal trainers, massage therapists, chiropractors, physicians and other healthcare and fitness specialists in order to help patients achieve their movement goals.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury or aiming to reach your next performance goal, Nick is committed to helping you move better, feel stronger, and become more resilient!

Did you know that physical therapists can refer directly out for imaging in Colorado?

Physical therapists can refer you directly for an X-Ray, CT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, etc. after an injury screening or full evaluation. This can save our patients time, money, and frustration.

Colorado is also a direct access state, meaning that a patient does not need a referral to start physical therapy services. (Some insurances do require a referral or other stipulations for the imaging to be covered)
